It is hard to believe that Christmas is just around the corner. This means it’s almost time for fun holiday games and gatherings!
One of my favorite things about the holiday season is that there are so many fun Christmas games and activities you can enjoy with family and friends. Every year, I like to create printable Christmas games to play, such as Christmas scavenger hunt clues for a fun treasure hunt, Christmas charades game, and a Secret Santa questionnaire for a gift exchange, to name a few.
This season, I am creating a Christmas bingo printable that can be played at holiday gatherings with family. This printable Christmas bingo includes 25 Christmas holiday bingo cards, as well as both small and large calling cards to accompany them.
In this post, you will learn how to play Christmas bingo, what supplies you need to play, and you’ll get your FREE Christmas bingo cards to print.

Christmas Bingo Game

Bingo is such a classic game and truly one of the best out there. Seriously, who doesn’t love bingo?!
It is an easy game to play and one of my favorite things about it is that you can customize the game to match different themes or holidays. I probably have a bingo game for just about every occasion you can think of (you can check them all out here).
Who Can Play Christmas Bingo?
You may be wondering what ages this Christmas bingo printable is suitable for, which leads me to another reason why I love bingo so much. It’s a Christmas bingo for adults and kids of ALL ages!
It’s not easy finding a game suitable for both a preschooler and a preteen, but bingo is always one of the top choices for family game night in our house.
What You Need To Play Bingo
Below, I have listed all the items you will need to play this Christmas bingo game.
- Printer
- 8.5×11 Printer Paper
- Bingo Chips
- Christmas Bingo Free Printable
- Optional- Prizes, Laminator, Laminating Pouches
Christmas Bingo Setup
Before you can play, there are a few steps to set up the game. First, you will need to choose which calling cards you’d like to use. I have small calling cards on the Christmas bingo printable, and also a separate printable with large calling cards. The large ones are great for big groups.

Print out your Christmas bingo boards and the calling cards of your choosing. Next, I highly recommend laminating the bingo boards and calling cards. While this is not mandatory to play, it will make the game hold up better, allowing you to play it again in the future.
After printing (and laminating), you will need to cut out your calling cards. If you choose the smaller ones, there are two identical pages of them.
Only cut out the individual calling cards on ONE of the pages. You will use the second page to cover them after they’ve been called (it makes it easier to see which cards have been called when someone gets bingo).
Once the Christmas bingo boards are printed and the calling cards are cut out you are ready to play.
How To Play Christmas Bingo

To begin the game, the first step is to divvy out the bingo chips. You can either get a large pack like this off Amazon or play with some fun Christmas bingo chips like these holiday kisses.

Next, give each player a Christmas bingo board. Each player will place a bingo chip on the free space in the middle of their Christmas bingo card.
Then, place all of the calling cards into a bowl. Draw one card out and show the group. If a player has that particular image on their Christmas bingo card they will cover it with a bingo chip.

After everyone has enough time to search their card for that image you will draw another calling card. Again, show the group the image (or tell them what the picture is).
When someone gets five chips in a row on their Christmas holiday bingo card, they will shout BINGO. The five in a row can be either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.

After they call bingo, the person drawing the calling cards will ensure that the images they have covered have in fact been called. If they have all been called then that player wins. If they have covered an image by mistake, they will uncover that image and the game will continue.
Keep playing as many rounds as the group would like! It can be fun to include some Christmas bingo prizes for the winners.

A fun Christmas bingo idea would be to pick up a pack of small Christmas stockings like this and fill them with candy or goodies for the winners!
