Directions
First, print off the Harry Potter memory game at the bottom of the post. You will want to use cardstock like this for printing so that the Harry Potter images do not show through.
If you don’t have cardstock on hand, you could also tape multiple sheets of paper together after you’ve printed so that you can’t see through the cards.

Next, laminate the Harry Potter game cards. This is very important if you plan to play this game with young children because it’ll allow you to reuse the cards and keep them from crumpling or ripping.
In order to laminate, you’ll need to place the matching game printable (before cutting) into a laminating sheet like this. Then, slide the laminating sheet through a laminator.

Once the printable is laminated, cut out each memory card. You are ready to play when all 36 memory cards have been cut out!

How To Play Harry Potter Memory Game
To play the Harry Potter matching game, first flip over every card so you cannot see the picture. Then, mix up all of the cards.
Arrange the cards into a grid so there are 6 rows of 6.
After you have set up your board, choose someone to go first (I typically choose the youngest) and continue playing clockwise. The person who goes first will flip over two cards. If the cards are a match, then they get to keep the match and go again.
If they do not match, then they flip the cards back over, and it becomes the next player’s turn.
The game continues until all of the cards have been matched up. Whoever has the most matches at the end of the game, wins!
