Are you looking for a printable Christmas memory game? Look no further, this matching game is perfect for the holidays.
Memory is one of my youngest daughter’s favorite games, so we play it very often. In the past, I’ve created different versions, like Halloween Memory, Valentine’s Memory, and even an Easter egg memory game, to mix it up a bit.
With Christmas quickly approaching, I figured I would create and share a printable Christmas memory game.
With this printable Christmas memory game, there are 18 different matches with Christmas-themed images.
If your child enjoys the matching game like mine, then they are sure to find this printable Christmas game fun.

Supplies
- Christmas Memory Game Printable
- Cardstock Paper
- Printer
- Scissors
- Laminator
- Laminating Sheets
Directions
You’ll first need to print off the printable Christmas memory game at the bottom of the post. When printing, make sure to use cardstock so that the image does not show through. This is the cardstock I use and it works really well for this purpose.
If you don’t have cardstock on hand, you can always print using regular printer paper but then tape multiple sheets of paper to it so you can’t see through.

Next, I recommend laminating the Christmas memory cards. This is especially helpful if you have young kiddos like me because it will keep the cards from crumpling and ripping and allow you to reuse them in the future.
To laminate, simply place the printable (before cutting) into a laminating sheet. Then, slide the laminating sheet through a laminator. Once the printable is laminated, then cut out each memory card.

How to Play the Christmas Matching Game
To play this printable Christmas memory game you’ll need to flip over every card so you cannot see the picture. Then, mix the cards up.
Next, arrange the cards into a grid with six rows of six. The grid setup should look similar to the picture below.
If you are looking for a challenge, try randomly spreading the cards around without laying them in rows and columns.
Once your memory game board is set up, you can choose someone to go first. I typically have the youngest go first and then continue clockwise.
The first player will pick two cards to flip over. If the cards are a match, then they get to keep the cards and go again.
If they do not match, then the player would flip the cards back over, and it becomes the next player’s turn.
The game continues until all of the cards have been matched up. Whichever player has the most matches at the end of the game, wins!
