Easter is almost here, and my kids are already talking about the Easter Bunny and their egg hunt. To make the Easter Bunny’s job a little easier, I made a fun, Easter Bunny scavenger hunt to share.
This hunt comes with 24 Easter scavenger hunt clues that all lead to indoor locations (minus the final prize). As kids solve and follow the clues they will find Easter eggs that the Easter Bunny left behind for them. The final clue will lead them to their Easter basket!
This will definitely make the Easter Bunny’s job SO much easier and the kids are sure to love it.

Directions
First, fill some plastic eggs with Easter egg fillers. Next, download and print off the Easter Bunny scavenger hunt at the bottom of the post. Then, cut out each scavenger hunt clue.
Once you have them cut up you will place them inside a plastic egg or tape them to the outside of an egg. If you choose to put them inside an egg, you can get larger plastic eggs or roll the clue cards up to fit inside the eggs.
It can also be helpful to number the eggs so that the kids can make sure they find them in the correct order.
Then, on Easter Eve when the kids are asleep, you will begin hiding the eggs for the scavenger hunt.
Easter Scavenger Hunt Setup
To set up the scavenger hunt, leave the first clue somewhere they will notice immediately, such as the kitchen table.
The first clue says, “Hippity, hoppity I must get going. Before I leave, here’s something worth knowing. I’ve hidden your basket and eggs all around. But don’t worry I left clues so they can be found. The first one is easy you’ll solve it no doubt. It’s near a spot where water comes out.”
Clue number 2 would then go near a water faucet, either in a bathroom or in the kitchen. You could also place eggs filled with candy or toys at the other faucets in the house so that as they search for the egg with the clue, they will also find eggs with prizes.
The order you choose to make the clues does not matter (minus the first and last clue). However, once you decide the order of the clues, then you will need to hide each egg in the location from its previous clue.
For example, whichever clue/egg you make number 4 will need to be hidden in the location of the answer to clue number 3.
Hide all of the eggs until you get to the last clue. The last clue says “I must get on my way now I have lots more houses to see. I hope you enjoyed this egg hunt just as much as me. To find your basket here’s one more thing to know. I left it on the porch before I had to go.”
You then would place their Easter basket sitting on the front porch. This is the only clue that leads outside just so that they don’t stumble upon their basket as they are solving and following clues.
