Printable Unicorn Scavenger Hunt - Fun Unicorn Birthday Party Game -

This unicorn scavenger hunt makes for a fun unicorn-themed birthday party game!

My 6-year-old is currently in a unicorn phase, so I was not surprised when she asked for a unicorn-themed birthday party.

If you are like me and also planning a unicorn party, you are probably brainstorming games and activities to keep the kids entertained at the party.

This is why I created a unicorn scavenger hunt to go with the unicorn birthday theme. On this hunt, there are 12 different unicorn-themed images for you to cut out and hide around the party area for the kids to find.

There are a few different ways to do the unicorn scavenger hunt but whichever way you choose, the kids are sure to have a blast with this activity.

Directions

First, download and print the unicorn hunt at the bottom of the post. If you plan to have the kids do the unicorn scavenger hunt together, then you’ll only need one copy of each page.

If you are going to have them do it in teams or individually then print out each page for each team or person.

Once you have the pages printed, then cut out each box on pages 2 and 3. These are the unicorn images you will hide around the party area. Once they are all cut out you are ready to play.

Ways to Play the Unicorn Scavenger Hunt

This scavenger hunt can be done all together, in teams, or even individually. Below, I have listed out how to do the scavenger hunt each of these ways so you can decide how you’d like to do it at your unicorn party.

1. All Together

Doing the unicorn scavenger hunt all together is a great team work game. The kids can work together trying to find all 12 of the unicorn pictures.

To play this way you will need one copy of the 12 images. Cut out each picture and tape them up or hide them in various locations around the party area. Then, have the kids work together and see if they can find all 12 of the pictures.

2. Teams

Another way to do this scavenger hunt is to split the kids into teams and see which team can find all 12 pictures first. If you play it this way, you will need a copy of each page of the printable for each team.

For example, if you plan to do three teams you will need three scavenger hunt sheets and three copies of the pictures to hide. There needs to be enough pictures hidden for each team to find one of each item.

After you’ve printed the pages, cut out the boxes from pages 2-3. Hide these images around the party area. Then, start the teams at the same time and see which team can find all 12 pictures first.

3. Individually

You could also play this individually. You will do this exactly the same as you would playing with teams except you’ll need a copy of each page for each person.

*If you play with teams or individually, you may want to print off a couple extra picture cards than you have players/teams. This way, in case someone accidentally grabs two of one image, there will still be enough for everyone to find one of each.
