Halloween is nearly here, and if you’re anything like me, you love planning fun and festive games for your kids! As a mom to three elementary-aged kids, I’m always coming up with new games and activities to keep them entertained and excited for the holidays.
This year, I created a fun and spooky Ghost Scavenger Hunt that your kids are sure to love! It’s the perfect Halloween activity to get them up and moving while searching for spooky ghosts and having tons of fun along the way.
Whether you’re planning a Halloween party, a family night, or just looking for a fun activity to do at home, this Ghost Scavenger Hunt is sure to be a hit with your little ghosts and ghouls!

- Ghost Scavenger Hunt Printable
- Scissors
- Tape
- Writing Utensil
How to Play
Download the free printable at the bottom of this post. Whether you are doing this for a Halloween party, classroom game, or a family night activity, you will need to print off enough of the first page for everyone participating. You will only need one copy of the second and third pages.
Next, cut out the ghosts from the second and third pages. Then, hide and tape them around the room. If this is for a Halloween party, you could even hide them outside and have the kids use flashlights to search for them.
After the ghosts are hidden, give each of the kids a copy of the ghost scavenger hunt. Then, send the kiddos off to search for all nine of the ghosts on their sheet.
As they find a ghost, have them check it off on their printable. See who can find all nine ghosts the fastest!
