If you are looking for Halloween treasure hunt clues, then you’ve come to the right spot! These are the best riddles for a spooktacular scavenger hunt!

Halloween will be here before we know it, and if you’re anything like me, you like planning fun activities for your kids, especially around the holidays! In the past, I’ve created Halloween games like Halloween Bingo, Halloween Would You Rather, Halloween charades and more!
Last year, I also made a Halloween scavenger hunt for my kids, and they had a blast solving the clues. Because they enjoyed it so much, I decided to create a new one this year. Same concept and idea, just new riddles for them to solve.
These Halloween treasure hunt clues lead to common indoor items such as a toaster, hamper, and refrigerator. The last treasure hunt clue leads to a fun Halloween surprise of your choosing.
This post is all about a Halloween Treasure Hunt.

How do you set up a Halloween Treasure Hunt for kids?
The first step in setting up a Halloween scavenger hunt is to download and print the treasure hunt clues at the bottom of this post. Then, cut out each Halloween clue card.
To make life easier, you can number your clues and put them in the same order as I have. Then, just pull up this post when you go to hide the clues.
Once you’ve cut out your clues, you will begin hiding them. Set the first clue off to the side. This is the one that reads “Do you dare go on a Halloween quest? Just solve each clue and do your best. Don’t be scared, the first one isn’t hard. You put these on before going in the yard.”
Next, you will hide the second clue in the answer to the first clue which is a pair of your child’s shoes.
Then, you will hide the third clue in the answer to the second clue. If you choose to use the same order as me, you will tape this to the toaster. It can be fun to use Halloween washi tape like this to hang up the clues.
You will continue with this pattern of hiding the clue in the answer to the previous clue. This is why pulling up this post makes it easier.
When you get to the last clue, it says, “You made it to the final clue. Witches are cackling just for you. Beneath the covers, soft and deep. Your prize awaits where you drift to sleep.”
You would then go hide some sort of Halloween treat or prize in your child’s bed. This clue works perfectly if you have multiple children doing the Halloween scavenger hunt because they can do the hunt together, but each can get their own prize.

Halloween Treat Ideas
The Halloween prize or treat at the end can be anything from a Halloween book to some Halloween candy. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy.
I always find my kids are more excited about following the clues than the prize at the end. As soon as they are done, they are always asking for more clues or another hunt.
