If you are looking for a St. Patty’s game, look no further! This St. Patrick’s Day dice game is the perfect thing to play with family and friends.

The new year is quickly approaching which means St. Patrick’s Day will be here before we know it.
If you’re anything like me, then you are probably searching for fun things to do with your kids this St. Patrick’s Day! In the past, I’ve made St. Patty’s Day activities like a St. Patrick’s Day scavenger hunt, St. Patrick’s Day bingo, and an adorable Leprechaun note.
This year, I decided to create a St. Patrick’s Day dice game because dice games have been a hit with other holidays like this Easter dice game. This candy dice game is so easy to play and can be played with any number of players.
In this post, you will learn everything you need to know to play this St. Patrick’s Day dice game. You will also get your free printable game sheet.
This post is all about a St. Patrick’s Day dice game.

How to Setup & Play St. Patrick’s Day Dice Game
First, place a large pile of gold-wrapped candy in the center of the table. Then, determine how long the candy dice game will go for.
You can either set a timer for a certain number of minutes or play until someone has X amount of candy (eg. 10 pieces).
To begin the game, have each player pick three pieces of candy from the middle pile and roll the die to determine who will go first.
The player that rolls the highest gets to go first. That player will start the game by rolling the die. Whichever number they roll they will do the corresponding action (from the St. Patrick’s dice game printable).

For example, if they roll a four, then they would get to take two pieces of candy from the middle.
If they were to roll a five, then they would get to swap one piece of their candy with one piece of another player’s candy.
After their turn is completed, the game continues clockwise until there is a winner or the timer goes off. When the game ends, everyone gets to keep the candy that they have in front of them!

St. Patrick’s Day Dice Game – Non Candy
In addition to the candy dice game, I have also created a more generic dice game printable that does not say candy, so that you could play this game with other green or gold prize items. If you play this way, you could have everyone start the game with only one item, and the first person to five items wins!
To make the game a little competitive you could try adding one or two “bigger” prizes into the mix such as a green bluetooth speaker, Stanley Tumbler or if you are playing with kids a Bren the Bigfoot Squishmallow, Magna-Tiles glow, or a green reading timer bookmark.
