If you are looking for a unicorn-themed activity for kids look no further. This roll a unicorn dice game is sure to be a fun one.

My soon-to-be seven-year-old is currently ALL about unicorns. By that I mean, she is reading books about unicorns, playing with unicorn toys, wearing unicorn outfits, she even has a unicorn toothbrush.
This is why it came as no surprise when she asked for a unicorn-themed birthday.
With her birthday just a couple of weeks away, I have been busy making fun unicorn games and activities for the girls to do at the party, like unicorn bingo, a unicorn scavenger hunt and now this roll-a-unicorn dice game.
With this roll a unicorn game, kids will take turns rolling the dice and following the corresponding direction to see who can build their unicorn first.
This post is all about the roll a unicorn game.

At the bottom of the post, you will find the free printable game. Download and print it off.
The second page of the printable is the game card. You will need one copy of this for each player. This printable is made to play with up to 8 people.

If you have more than eight, you will need to make more copies of the entire printable.
Once you have the game printed, set the key and game cards off to the side. Then, cut out all of the unicorn horns, eyes, flowers/bows, hair, ears, and crowns.

When everything is cut out, then you will be ready to play the unicorn game.

How to Play Roll A Unicorn
To begin, place all of the unicorn parts and the roll a unicorn key in the center of the table. Give each player a game card. Roll a die to see who goes first (eg. the highest number).

To start the game, have the first person roll the die. Whichever number it lands on that is the corresponding item they get to pick from the middle.
- 1 – Ears
- 2 – Eyes
- 3 – Hair
- 4 – Crown
- 5 – Horn
- 6 – Flower/Bow
For example, if they roll a five, they get to pick a unicorn horn and place it on their game card. Then, the next person rolls the dice and does the same thing.
The first player to complete their unicorn is the winner!
