Easter is almost here, and if you are like me, you are looking for fun holiday games and activities for you and your kids.
In the past, I’ve created different Easter games like Easter bingo, Easter dice games, and my kids’ favorite, Easter scavenger hunt clues. This year, I decided to make a printable Easter word scramble for them to solve.
On this printable Easter word scramble, you must unscramble each holiday word to find the answer to the Easter joke. It is sure to be a fun activity for kids!

Directions
The directions for this word puzzle are super simple. All you have to do is print off a copy of the printable Easter word scramble at the bottom of this post and grab a writing utensil.
Then, try to unscramble the letters to figure out what the Easter word is. Once you have unscrambled all of the Easter words, transfer the egg letters to the bottom of the page in order.
Below you can see an example of how to do this word puzzle. The letters “BITRAB” do not spell a word but the letters can be rearranged to spell the word “RABBIT.”
After figuring that out, you would write rabbit in the boxes. In this example, you would then bring the letter “B” down to the bottom and put it in the corresponding egg spot to help solve the answer to the joke.
Once you have unscrambled all of the words, you will be able to read the answer to the Easter joke at the bottom of the puzzle.
When to play this Easter word scramble?
This word puzzle can be done pretty much anywhere, either by yourself or with a group. You can do these at home, an Easter party, in the classroom, or even in the car (it’s a perfect road trip activity if you travel over the holiday).
Coloring Page Word Scramble
One of the Easter word scrambles included in the printable also doubles as an Easter coloring page. While they work to unscramble the words, they can color in the Easter pictures.
