If you are looking for a back-to-school coloring bookmark, then you’ve come to the right spot.

It won’t be long before kids are heading back to the classroom for a brand new school year. If you are a teacher, you are likely already planning ahead and preparing for a new school year.
To help make the first day a little more fun, I have created a back to school coloring bookmark printable. Students can spend time coloring them in. Then, you can laminate them so your kids can use them all year long during reading time.
This post is all about a back to school bookmark.

Directions
At the bottom of this post you will find the free back to school coloring bookmark printable. Download and print off as many copies as you need.

If you’d like the bookmarks to be thicker or if you don’t plan to laminate them, you might want to consider printing on cardstock like this. After printing, cut out each bookmark and place them in three different piles based on their style.
Next, on the first day of school, let your students choose a bookmark and color it in. When they are finished coloring it in, place the bookmarks in laminating pouches like this. Then, run them through a laminator. Once it is laminated, cut out each bookmark.
If you would like to add a ribbon to the bookmark, punch a hole at the top of the bookmark and string a ribbon through.
Then, the bookmarks are complete and ready for your students to use.
