Directions
The first step is to download and print the Easter scavenger hunt printable at the bottom of the post. Then, print off the Easter scavenger hunt clues and cut out each individual one.
Once they are all cut out, I recommend numbering them on the back. This will help you while hiding the clues. It’ll also ensure your kids find the clue cards in the correct order so they don’t miss any.
Now you are all ready to begin setting up the Easter hunt.
Easter Scavenger Hunt Setup
To begin setting up the hunt, put aside the first clue card. This clue reads “Are you egg-cited for Easter? Well, today is the day. I’ve planned an Easter hunt, so what do you say? If you solve the clues and follow each one, you’ll find a special prize when the hunt is all done. To find your first clue, time to look in someone’s shoe.”
You then would hide the second clue in a shoe. Before placing the second clue in a shoe, make sure to read it to determine where the next clue will go.
As you continue to hide the clues, you’ll always want to hide a clue in the location/answer of the previous clue. For example, clue four would go in the answer/location to clue three, clue five would go in the answer/location to clue four etc.
Keep hiding the clues until you get to the last one. The last one reads, “Hooray, you did it! Your Easter hunt is complete. Now, look under a sink to find your Easter treat.”
You then would hide an Easter surprise of your choosing under a sink in the house.
*Below I have listed all the clues and their answers so it may be helpful to pull this post up while hiding them.
