Gifts From Santa
Does Santa leave the gifts unwrapped? Does he wrap them using certain wrapping paper? How does he indicate which present belongs to which child?
In our house, Santa always leaves a small Santa sack with four presents for each child inside. They each end up getting one thing that they want (not a super expensive gift), one thing that they need, one thing they can wear, and one thing they can read.
Each gift is wrapped in plain brown wrapping paper and their name is written on the paper with black marker.
Instead of just writing on the gifts, I thought it would be cool if Santa attached a gift tag to label each gift. This is why I created some adorable Christmas gift tags for Santa to use this year.
As I was creating them, I remembered how concerned my 6-year-old was last year on Christmas Eve regarding how Santa would get inside our house.
Since we do not have a chimney she worried he would use a window or door and set off our alarm system. I told her I had confidence in Santa and that he would have a way to deliver the presents without tripping the alarm.
Because of this, I added the delivery method to some of the Santa gift tags. That way, he can check off which way he plans to deliver the gifts to each child whether it be through the door, chimney, window, doggy door, or just by using magic to help put imaginative kids like mine at ease the following year.
Here are the seven different Santa gift tags. Below each one, there is a box you can click on to download and print it off.
