As a mom of three elementary-aged kids, I love making holiday-themed games and activities that make each season more fun for my kids. With Halloween quickly approaching, I created this printable Halloween word scramble and I’m excited to share it with you.
On this printable Halloween word scramble, you must unscramble each Halloween-related word to find the answer to the Halloween joke. It is sure to be a fun activity for kids!

Directions
The directions for this puzzle are super simple. At the bottom of this post you will find the printable Halloween word scramble. Print off as many copies as you need and grab a writing utensil.
Next, unscramble the letters to figure out what the Halloween word is. Once you have unscrambled all of the Halloween words, transfer the pumpkin letters to the bottom of the page in order.
Below you can see an example of how to do this word puzzle. The letters “BOCEWB” do not spell a word, but the letters can be rearranged to spell the word “COBWEB.”
After unscrambling that word, you would write cobweb in the boxes. In this example, you would then bring the letter “W” down to the bottom and put it in the first pumpkin spot to help solve the answer to the joke.
Once you have unscrambled all of the words, you will be able to read the answer to the Halloween joke at the bottom of the puzzle.

This Halloween word scramble is a great indoor activity for kids. It is perfect for those chilly fall days when it is too cold to go outside. It also makes a great classroom activity or a great activity to leave out at a kids’ Halloween party.
