Valentine's Bingo Cards

If you’ve seen any of my previous posts you probably know that my family loves bingo. It is one of the few games we can all play and enjoy (including my 3-year-old).

Because my kids love bingo, I’ve created different versions such as Easter Bingo, 4th of July Bingo, Christmas Bingo, and many more (you can find all my bingo games here). It has become one of my kids’ favorite ways to celebrate the holidays.

With Valentine’s Day nearly here, I decided to create this fun Valentine’s Day bingo game. Whether you are a teacher looking for a fun classroom activity or you are a parent looking for a game to play at home with the kids this Valentine’s bingo game is the perfect way to celebrate!

This printable bingo game comes with 25 different Valentine’s bingo cards, as well as the calling cards of the 30 Valentine’s Day pictures used for the game.

This post is all about Valentine’s Bingo cards.

  • Scissors
  • Valentine’s Bingo Printable
  • Bingo Chips
  • Laminator (optional)

Directions

At the bottom of this post is the free printable Valentine’s bingo game. This printable comes with 25 different bingo cards, as well as, small and large calling cards.

If you are not playing with a large group then you do not need to print all 25 cards. You’ll only need one card per person playing. Make sure to print off the calling cards on the last pages of the printable.

*This next step is optional, but I highly recommend it.

After you have printed the Valentine’s Bingo Cards, laminate them before playing. This protects the cards so that you can reuse them in the future.

To laminate the bingo game and calling cards, I used my Amazon Basics Laminator, that you can see in the picture above (I have the older version of this one), as well as the Amazon Basics Laminating Sheets.

You’ll also want to laminate the calling cards. There will be two identical pages of calling cards. After laminating, you will cut out the individual calling cards on ONE of the pages.

Then, as you play and call out cards drawn you will cover them up on the other page. This lets you see which cards have already been called more easily.

I also have larger calling cards you can use instead if you prefer. These are on a separate free printable. These are great for playing with a big group such as in a classroom.

*If you don’t have a laminator, I would print the bingo game using thicker paper such as cardstock because regular printer paper will not hold up very well, especially if you’re playing with kids.

After printing, laminating, and cutting out the calling cards, you are ready to play Valentine’s Day bingo!

How to Play the Valentine’s Bingo Game

Once you are ready to play, pass out a bingo card to each player. You can play with up to 25 players because that is how many different cards this game comes with.

Next, give each player bingo chips. You can use regular bingo chips like these red ones or some fun Valentine’s Day markers like these conversation hearts.

When starting the game, have each player place a chip on the free middle space. Then, put all the calling cards into a bowl and draw one out. Call out the image on the card, or show it to the group.

Players check their bingo board for that image. If they have it on their card they cover it with a bingo chip. The first player to cover five in a row either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally shouts BINGO!

If a player calls out BINGO, have them recite the images they have covered to make sure those images have in fact been called out. If they all have been called, then that player wins the round.
