Harry Potter Favor Bag
The first step in putting together Harry Potter party favors is to decide the bag or container the favors will go in. You need to determine this first so you will know how much room you’ll have for the party favors.
We went with these Harry Potter cosmetic bags to hold the party favors. I love that these bags are also part of the favor because they are reusable. This means kids can keep and store various items, such as nail polish, pencils, or other trinkets, and they won’t just go straight to the trash.

1. Stickers
These cute Harry Potter stickers are perfect Harry Potter party favor ideas. If you plan to use the favor bags I used, you will need to trim off the excess paper on the top and bottom of the sticker sheet so that they fit into the bag.
Once the excess was trimmed, the sticker sheet fit perfectly!

2. Gummies
Haribo makes three diffferent Harry Potter gummies, which make a great treat to stick in the favor bag. We picked up a combination of the three editions – Hermione, Ron, and Harry.
These are a bit taller than the Harry Potter favor bag, but they easily fold in half, so they can fit!

3. Scrunchies
The last thing we put into the Harry Potter party bag was a scrunchy because my daughter was having an all-girl party. She picked out this multi color pack of scrunchies.
Then, I made a printable party favor tag that said “thank you for making my party magical”. I cut them out and folded them in half. Then, I slid a scrunchie on and stapled the favor tag together.

How cute is this?! While we didn’t use these as favors, we did have them as prizes for the Harry Potter games we played.
To make them, pick up some Rolos, chocolate coins, or Hershey’s gold nuggets and fill a clear treat bag like this. Then, tie on a tag that says “Gringotts Money.” It’s super simple and super adorable.

Another great Harry Potter party favor idea would be chocolate frogs. These are a classic Harry Potter treat. If you pick up the Harry Potter brand chocolate frogs, they also come with cool collecting cards that any Harry Potter fan would love.
Depending on how many guests you are inviting, Harry Potter chocolate frogs can be a bit spendy. Instead, you could get a frog mold like this and make your own!

7. DIY Monster Book of Monsters
This is one of the coolest DIY Harry Potter party favor ideas! To make them, you need faux fur, white felt for teeth, red felt for a tongue, googly eyes, a 3×3 notepad, and a hot glue gun to glue it all together.
