My daughter’s summer basketball season is drawing to a close. Back in March, her team competed in a March Madness Bracket Challenge. I took on the job of assembling a gift basket for the winner. After making this basket I realized this would also make an adorable end of season basketball gift for players.

How to Make the Basketball Basket
This was super inexpensive and easy to make. I was able to get both the basket and orange duct tape from Dollar Tree.
Then, I cut strips of the orange duct tape and placed them around the edge of the basket’s top to resemble a basketball hoop and rim.
Lastly, I created a printable backboard that you can download and print off at the bottom of the post.
I created one that says “March Madness Bracket Challenge Champ,” but I also created a blank one you can use a Sharpie on to write any message or name you would like. Then, tape the backboard to the basket.
Now your basket is complete, and you can add in any fun goodies
