If you are looking for a Secret Santa Questionnaire then look no further. This is the best printable to have participants fill out for your group gift exchange.
With Christmas just around the corner, it is approaching the time when families, friends and workplaces start organizing their Secret Santa gift exchanges.
While participating in a Secret Santa gift exchange can be fun, it can also be stressful trying to find the perfect gift for someone.
This is why I created a Secret Santa questionnaire to remove the stress of group gift exchanges. This printable will help the person who draws your name get to know you better so they can get a gift you will surely like and vice versa!

How To Do A Secret Santa Gift Exchange
First, figure out who wants to participate in the gift exchange. If you are doing a work gift exchange I recommend setting out a sign up sheet like this one and leaving it out for a week for people to sign up on. Make sure to include the sign up deadline so people aren’t trying to sign up after names have been drawn.
You’ll also want to set a price cap for the gift exchange so the gifts are all roughly the same price.
After you have the names of everyone who would like to participate, then write each name on a piece of paper or card like this. Stick the names in a bowl and have each participant draw a name. If anybody draws their own name, have them draw a new one.
The name drawn is who you buy a gift for. When gifts are opened the recipient guesses who their secret Santa is.
Secret Santa Gifts
The worst part about Secret Santa gift exchanges is drawing someone’s name that is either very hard to buy for or someone you may know little about. You can either get a nonspecific gift, ask people close to the recipient or have everyone fill out a secret Santa questionnaire.
In my opinion, the best route is a Secret Santa questionnaire like my free one at the bottom of this post. It should not take the participants long to fill out and it can be SUPER helpful when it comes to buying gifts because a gift exchange should be fun not stressful.
All you have to do is have each participant fill it out when they sign up for the gift exchange. Then, when names are drawn each person finds their recipient’s questionnaire to keep and use when picking out a gift.
