From taking countless road trips across the country, I have learned that road trip snacks are a must that will save you both time and money.
As a mom of three kids, I am giving you the best road trip snack ideas my family and I swear by. This huge list of road trip snacks range from chickpea puffs and applesauce pouches to hummus, pretzels, and more!

Another cheese option for the cooler is these Babybel snacks. Do note, that you’ll need a garbage bag to put the wax after peeling it.
3. Hummus
Hummus is a blended chickpea dip that is packed with protein and tastes delicious. There are many different flavors and it pairs wonderfully with pretzels, veggies, and pita bread. You can even find individual serving size hummus containers that are great for travel.
4. Hard Boiled Eggs
As long as you can keep these cold, hard-boiled eggs are a great protein-packed road trip snack.
5. Yogurt
If you are bringing a cooler, then yogurt is a great snack to pack. Get some Greek yogurts and the extra protein will keep you and your kids full for longer.
6. Lunch Meat

Pack some lunch meat and eat it as a snack, or make some lunch meat roll-ups. In addition to lunch meat, I like to bring along cheese and crackers and make DIY Lunchables for my kiddos. These containers are AWESOME for that.
