Directions
At the bottom of the post, you will find the free pumpkin printable. Download this printable and print off the same number of pumpkins as kids you will have playing. There are 10 different pumpkins, but if you have more kids than that, you can just print off duplicates of the same pumpkin.

Next, laminate the pumpkins (this will make it easier to tape to the ground and easily remove each round). To laminate, you will need to stick each pumpkin into a laminating sheet like this. Then, run it through a laminator.

After the pumpkins have been laminated, cut out the circles. Next, tape the pumpkins to the floor in a circle. Now, you are ready to play the musical pumpkins game.

How to Play
To start the game, have each kid stand on a pumpkin. Then, start some music and have them walk in a circle. When you stop the music, each kid needs to sit down on a pumpkin.
In the first round, everyone will be able to sit on a pumpkin. After this round, remove one pumpkin from the circle. Start playing the music again and have everyone walk in a circle.

Now, when you stop the music, everyone tries to sit on a pumpkin. The person who is left without a pumpkin is out of the game. Remove another pumpkin and continue playing.
When there are only two kids left in the game and one pumpkin, the winner will be the person who sits down on the pumpkin first when the music stops.
