Directions
First, determine the number of kids in your child’s classroom. Then, print off the amount you need using cardstock. You can also use regular printer paper, however I think having the game board on thicker paper is best.
On the printable, you’ll see that there are two different colored tic-tac-toe boards. The different colored cards correspond with the colors in the FaveReds Starbursts bag. Page one is for the Cherry and Watermelon flavored Starbursts while page two is for the Fruit Punch and Strawberry Starbursts.
After you’ve printed the amount you need, cut out the game boards, card toppers, and heart piece cards (you don’t need to cut out each heart just the card). The heart pieces are just extras for when they eat the starbursts and need pieces to play with.
Next, fold the card toppers in half and set them off to the side. Then, pull out your clear plastic bags. You can get them off Amazon or pick them up at Walmart or Target. I got mine at Target in the party area.
Wherever you get them, just make sure they are at least 4 inches in width and 6 inches in height so the Tic Tac Toe Valentine will fit.
Once you have your bags, open them up and slide both the tic-tac-toe board and heart pieces card into the bag.
Then, add five starbursts of two different colors (10 total).
If you buy the FaveReds Starbursts bag you can use the cherry and watermelon flavors for one of the Valentine cards and the fruit punch and strawberry flavors for the other tic tac toe Valentine.
Lastly, fill in the to and from section on the card topper and secure it to the top of the bag with either tape or staples.
*If you pick up the favor bags from Target, they are quite a bit taller than the valentine, so you can trim off the excess or fold it down before securing the card topper.
Repeat this process with the remaining Valentine cards.
