St. Patrick’s Day is almost here and if your kids are anything like mine they are already thinking about the leprechaun trap they are going to make this year. My kids spend countless hours designing and creating the perfect trap in hopes they will catch a leprechaun on St. Patrick’s Day.
As a cute prize for all of their hard work, I created this adorable leprechaun note to leave for them if their trap does not end up catching a leprechaun.
Whether you are a parent looking to leave a leprechaun note to your child or a teacher wanting to leave a leprechaun note to students this is the perfect leprechaun trap letter!
Along with this St. Patrick’s Day letter make sure to leave your kid(s) some special “gold”. It is sure to be a magical surprise your child(ren) will love.

If you have more than one child they can either work together to make an elaborate trap or make their own in hopes that one person’s trap will work. Once your child has made their trap have them put it out the night before St. Patrick’s Day to see if they can trap a leprechaun.
Directions
At the bottom of this page you will find the free printable leprechaun note. Print this off and cut it out. I used cardstock for this but you can also just use regular printer paper. Then, place this note near their trap along with some “gold.” I like to use either chocolate gold coins or gold dollar coins.
