- Printer
- Printer Paper (8.5×11)
- New Year’s Scavenger Hunt Printable
- Writing Utensil
- Laminator (optional)
- Laminating Sheets (optional)
Directions
At the bottom of the page you will find the scavenger hunt printable for you to download. You’ll want to print off enough copies of the hunt for each kid you have playing.
Then, you can either leave the printable as is or laminate if you want to be able to reuse them in the future.
To laminate, just stick each printable into a laminating sheet like this. Then, run the laminating sheets through a laminator.
To write on the laminated sheets you’ll want to use wet erase markers.

How to Play
The first thing you’ll want to do is make sure you have all the scavenger hunt items. If you do not have all of the items on the list you can either cut out the picture scavenger hunt below and tape them around the house or use my blank New Year’s scavenger hunt template and fill it in with items you do have.
Then, have your kids decide if they want to play in teams or individually. If you are going to play in teams, break them up into groups.
Next, have everyone search for the scavenger hunt items. The first person, or team, to find all of the items on the list wins!
