Directions
Download and print this free printable scavenger hunt below. If your children are like mine, you may want to print off a copy for each of them to have. Once you have printed out the number of copies you want, you can either leave them the way they are or laminate them.
If you are leaving them how they are, make sure to grab a writing utensil for everyone. It can also be helpful to use clipboards like these so you have something hard to write against.
If you take your kids to the pumpkin patch each year or if you are a teacher taking your students on a field trip then you may want to laminate the free printable. It will better preserve the scavenger hunts so you can reuse them in the future.
If you want to laminate, stick the pumpkin patch scavenger hunt in a laminating pouch like this. Then, slide it through your laminator. I use this Amazon Basics Laminator and it works great. Repeat this process for each copy of the scavenger hunt.
For your laminated printable, use Vis-A-Vis markers like these to check off the items you find at the pumpkin patch. If you use dry erase markers instead of Vis-A-Vis wet erase markers on the laminated sheets it might not come off very easily. If this happens and you are trying to get it off, I have found that squirting some hand sanitizer on the laminated printable and then wiping it off works really well.

When you get to the pumpkin patch decide if you are going to split up into teams and see who can finish first or just try to find all of the items as one group.
If your family is competitive and decides to break up into teams to do the scavenger hunt you may want to have everyone take pictures as “proof.” The first team to find all the items gets bragging rights until next year!
